One Year ...

What an eventful year it has been ...

We had his birthday party on the 12th. I had so much fun planning and decorating. We invited our famlies and his teacher Ms. Tiffany. He was so spoiled! Lucky boy, he sure is loved soooooooo much.

Eleven months and forever changed ...

Christian is eleven months! I can't even believe it ... well now almost a year. Makes me so sad. Where did my little baby go.

And now that he is so big ... we had to install one of these. He thinks it's a new toy.

He is my BFF. Goes everywhere with me and I wouldn't change that for the world.

And I could not take a picture of this little hand print. He grabs me when he is taking a bath. It's so cute. 

This month has been a little challenging for me. I feel sooooooooo sad that little handsome boy is turning one. On one hand I am so excited to witness him walk, play with his friends, NOT HAVING TO BUY FORMULA, hearing him say "I love you", actually saying "momma, or dadda". But on the other hand I don't want him to get bigger, I want him to stay my little nugget forever. I want him to fall asleep in my arms, grab my face when I am holding him, put his little head on my shoulder when he is sleepy. I know all of that is going to change.

I have been telling myself to look forward to the new milestones and not be sad about him not being my little nugget anymore, but being a boob of a mother that I am ... it's not that easy. 

I love him beyond belief. He is ALWAYS going to be my little nugget or my handsome boy, that'll never change even when he is learning to walk, learning to ride a bike, taking a girl on a date, going off to college. He will forever be my little boy, and that is something I need to hold onto.

I love you Christian Robert Carrier ... aka mommy's handsome boy.

Update ...

It's been a crazy and exciting month for us. We've been super busy and trying to keep Christian entertained. He is one super busy little boy. Loves to crawl, and is about to start to walk. We have to hold his hands of course and he'd do that all day if we'd let him. He has discovered the little cubby hole underneath the tv and turns the xbox on and off a thousand times! Laughs every time. Thinks he is super hilarious.

He is almost a year old. Where has the time gone?? Every day I think how fast time is going and it breaks my heart.

Here is what we've been up too.

Mother's Day was a blast. Chris spoiled me like crazy. I slept in and showered with no baby! I went downstairs to flowers and some goodies, along with a card that Christian signed too! We spent some of the day at his mom's house and then drove around Red Rock, went shopping, lots of stuff. I am so blessed for both of them.

Christian's first time swimming was on Easter. Here are some pics of the day. He liked it at first, then it got cold really quick and he wasn't having it. Snuggled with g-mo after to warm up.

 

We sold our motorcycle and of course that means some last minute pictures of my two favorite people. This one where Christian is touching Chris melts me. I never knew my heart could hold so much love for these two boys.

 

 

Christian is now officially 10 months old. I was a little late taking his pictures, but at least I got him when he was still 10 months! This was the best picture I could take. He wouldn't sit still and wouldn't let me put the sticker on him either. Not sure what we will do for the next two months ...

Last ... Over Memorial weekend we took Christian to the park for the first time, well a park with swings. It's taken him a few times to like the grass ... Now he never wants to leave! These pictures are to die for! If you are ever having a bad day, just look at these and remember how simple life is ... Well when you are 10 months at least!

Nine months!

I still can't believe my little nugget is already nine months. Time can stop now! Everytime we go to the doctor he tells me something else we can introduce to his diet! Please stop now, I'd be ok with that! He is my little partner in crime, always tags along with me (and I wouldn't have it any other way). He currently is almost crawling (almost!) He does the little army crawl or just rolls all over the house. Loves his cereal puffs and yogurt melts. Eats a ton of baby food and still cruises all over the house in his walker.

This month was busy for us! Mom and dad came and spent time with us, Jennifer came for a visit, mom and dad brought Christian into my work and he got to snuggle with almost everyone, he felt the love ... that's for sure, and yes, he turned nine months old!

New day ...

I seriously can't believe it. My munchkin is eight months old. I feel like he was just born, but at the same time it's been such a busy time that I don't remember much and it makes me sad ... This is one reason I love that I started this blog so I won't forget everything!

Right now Christian is eating his veggies and fruits and still eats soooo much formula. He is a little chunk butt. He has a new teacher, her name is Ms. Tiffany and she is amazing and loves him so much. He loves to cruise around the house in his walker and play play play. By night night time, he is done! And sleeps hard. It's going to be non-stop when he can walk and crawl, this momma is going to be TIRED! But I can't wait to take him outside and play ball and go to the park and watch him play. We try and go outside at least once a day, so he gets used to the outside "Vegas" air. We think he has some major allergies, well I do. Chris doesn't believe in that. We still are doing his breathing treatments morning and night, I think this helps him with his allergies.

He sits up all by himself now and also loves bath time. He just sits and splashes the water all day long. So far in his short little life he's had croup twice and bronchiolitis. Makes me so sad. Keeping our fingers and toes crossed that he is done this flu season. :)

What's new ...

I just have to share some of these cute pictures of Christian ... He is getting so big. He is so much fun now. Has tons of energy, yet still loves his naps. Also loves, loves, LOVES to watch the news in the morning. Haha. No cartoons, the news! He must know who his mommies BFF is. :D As you can see below. The news was on.

 

These were from one morning before work. I didn't want to leave him so I snapped a whole bunch of pictures so I could stare at him all day long. Last night he even greeted me at the door in his walker. I sware he couldn't get to me fast enough. It seriously melted my heart. I couldn't take it. I love being his mommy!

 

He's also seven months now! Woohoo! And teething. UGH! He has two teeth. The bottom center ones. One of his top teeth is starting to pop out too. It's been super fun ... NOT!

 

 

He meet his cousins for the first time. They all love each other. If you can't tell. :D He is also feeling SOOOOOOOOOO much better. Thankfully.

 

We purchased a jogging stroller and he's been going on walks with mommy. He loves every minute of it. It's so cute. He doesn't move or make a sound. He just stares at everything going on, plus the weather has been beautiful. On Sunday it even got a little too hot. But I won't admit that to anyone! Haha.

 

I've also been trying to eat clean. It's been about a 1.5 weeks. It's been really tough, not sleeping well and always exhausted. But it's only temporary till I get used to the lifestyle change. I would just like to have more energy to keep up with my soon to be active little guy. He just zooms around the house in his little walker and already gets into everything. So I have a feeling it's going to start soon. Need to start baby proofing!
