Updates ...

I wanted to add some pictures and let you know what we've been up too lately.

 

He is walking like crazy, always moving, destroying or playing until he passes out at night!

Or swimming with Papa.

 

 

 

We had a birthday party to go to for a friend. He was very scared of the bouncy houses, but loved the hoops!

 

 

We went on a hike, it was his first, he was amused at first and then didn't have as much fun. We had to end up cutting it short. He didn't like the whole being carried thing, he likes to explore on his own.

 

 

 

One Year ...

What an eventful year it has been ...

We had his birthday party on the 12th. I had so much fun planning and decorating. We invited our famlies and his teacher Ms. Tiffany. He was so spoiled! Lucky boy, he sure is loved soooooooo much.

Eleven months and forever changed ...

Christian is eleven months! I can't even believe it ... well now almost a year. Makes me so sad. Where did my little baby go.

And now that he is so big ... we had to install one of these. He thinks it's a new toy.

He is my BFF. Goes everywhere with me and I wouldn't change that for the world.

And I could not take a picture of this little hand print. He grabs me when he is taking a bath. It's so cute. 

This month has been a little challenging for me. I feel sooooooooo sad that little handsome boy is turning one. On one hand I am so excited to witness him walk, play with his friends, NOT HAVING TO BUY FORMULA, hearing him say "I love you", actually saying "momma, or dadda". But on the other hand I don't want him to get bigger, I want him to stay my little nugget forever. I want him to fall asleep in my arms, grab my face when I am holding him, put his little head on my shoulder when he is sleepy. I know all of that is going to change.

I have been telling myself to look forward to the new milestones and not be sad about him not being my little nugget anymore, but being a boob of a mother that I am ... it's not that easy. 

I love him beyond belief. He is ALWAYS going to be my little nugget or my handsome boy, that'll never change even when he is learning to walk, learning to ride a bike, taking a girl on a date, going off to college. He will forever be my little boy, and that is something I need to hold onto.

I love you Christian Robert Carrier ... aka mommy's handsome boy.

Update ...

It's been a crazy and exciting month for us. We've been super busy and trying to keep Christian entertained. He is one super busy little boy. Loves to crawl, and is about to start to walk. We have to hold his hands of course and he'd do that all day if we'd let him. He has discovered the little cubby hole underneath the tv and turns the xbox on and off a thousand times! Laughs every time. Thinks he is super hilarious.

He is almost a year old. Where has the time gone?? Every day I think how fast time is going and it breaks my heart.

Here is what we've been up too.

Mother's Day was a blast. Chris spoiled me like crazy. I slept in and showered with no baby! I went downstairs to flowers and some goodies, along with a card that Christian signed too! We spent some of the day at his mom's house and then drove around Red Rock, went shopping, lots of stuff. I am so blessed for both of them.

Christian's first time swimming was on Easter. Here are some pics of the day. He liked it at first, then it got cold really quick and he wasn't having it. Snuggled with g-mo after to warm up.

 

We sold our motorcycle and of course that means some last minute pictures of my two favorite people. This one where Christian is touching Chris melts me. I never knew my heart could hold so much love for these two boys.

 

 

Christian is now officially 10 months old. I was a little late taking his pictures, but at least I got him when he was still 10 months! This was the best picture I could take. He wouldn't sit still and wouldn't let me put the sticker on him either. Not sure what we will do for the next two months ...



 

Here are some random pictures that I just love. Like I said above, Christian has discovered his favorite location of the house.  

 

 

Last ... Over Memorial weekend we took Christian to the park for the first time, well a park with swings. It's taken him a few times to like the grass ... Now he never wants to leave! These pictures are to die for! If you are ever having a bad day, just look at these and remember how simple life is ... Well when you are 10 months at least!

Nine months!

I still can't believe my little nugget is already nine months. Time can stop now! Everytime we go to the doctor he tells me something else we can introduce to his diet! Please stop now, I'd be ok with that! He is my little partner in crime, always tags along with me (and I wouldn't have it any other way). He currently is almost crawling (almost!) He does the little army crawl or just rolls all over the house. Loves his cereal puffs and yogurt melts. Eats a ton of baby food and still cruises all over the house in his walker.

This month was busy for us! Mom and dad came and spent time with us, Jennifer came for a visit, mom and dad brought Christian into my work and he got to snuggle with almost everyone, he felt the love ... that's for sure, and yes, he turned nine months old!
